2. Log in to your JAMB profile.
3. Open CAPS (Central Admissions Processing System).
4. Select Admission Status.
5. Check the message displayed on your profile.
Your admission status may change as the admission process continues, so check periodically during the admission period.

## 🎉 Admission Offered
Congratulations! JAMB has recorded an admission offer for you. Check the institution and course carefully, then follow the instructions for accepting the admission.
## ⏳ Admission in Progress
Your admission is still being processed. This does not necessarily mean you have been rejected.
## ❌ Not Admitted
You have not received an admission offer at the time you checked. Keep monitoring your CAPS if the admission process is still ongoing.
## What If Your School Says You're Admitted?
Don't rely only on a message, screenshot, or social-media post.
Check your JAMB CAPS status and confirm that the admission is officially reflected on your profile. You should also follow your institution's instructions for screening and registration.
## Haven't Been Admitted Yet?
Don't panic.
Make sure your O'Level result and other required details are correctly submitted, check that your course requirements are satisfied, and continue monitoring your admission status.
Most importantly, don't give anyone your JAMB password, OTP, PIN, or other confidential account details because they claim they can "upgrade" or "secure" your admission.
